View, share, and inspect

Use the toolbar's Zoom Out and Zoom In buttons, or press Command–Minus and Command–Plus. View → Actual Size (Command–0) resets magnification. Zoom to Fit (Command–9) fits the readable document column to the window width and follows window resizing; narrow windows reflow at normal size.

The Share button opens the standard macOS sharing menu for the original document. It does not convert the document to a PDF; export a PDF first if you want to share the rendered result.

The default toolbar groups Share with Export as PDF, followed by Markdown Variant with Info, and then a separate Search field. Markdown Variant and Info stay together when you customize the toolbar.

Choose View → Hide Toolbar or Show Toolbar, or press Option–Command–T. Choose View → Customize Toolbar…, or Control-click the toolbar, to open the standard macOS customization sheet. Drag tools to add, remove, or rearrange them; Space and Flexible Space provide fixed and expanding gaps. Drag the default set back into the toolbar to restore its layout. macOS remembers your customized layout.

Choose Info next to the Markdown Variant selector, or press Command–I, to show the right-hand information sidebar. It includes file size and dates, source text statistics, and the detected and selected Markdown profiles with a short explanation. These controls are available in opened GlyphGlance documents, not Finder Quick Look.

The Title is the first nonempty heading at the highest level present: the first H1, or the first H2 if there is no H1, and so on. Both #-style and underlined headings are recognized. Formatting is converted to readable text; code blocks and Mermaid labels are not mistaken for headings.
